Iceni
IceniA pre-Roman tribe of eastern England. By the time of the Roman invasion of 43 AD they were part-Romanized and had come under the rule of the dynasty of Cymbeline . Their ruler Prasutagus was a treaty ally of Rome until his death in 60 AD . The treaty was broken by Rome and his widow Boudicca led the tribe in a revolt, which was brutally suppressed.
