Dayton Accord
Dayton AccordThe peace agreement, negotiated in Dayton, Ohio and signed in Paris in 1995 , that marked the end of the three-year war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The accord stated that the country would remain a single state within its existing borders but would comprise a Muslim-Croat federation and a Serb republic. A rotating tripartite presidency was established.
