Baker, Sir Samuel White
Baker, Sir Samuel White ( 1821 – 93 )British explorer who traced the Nile tributaries in Ethiopia ( 1861 – 62 ). In 1864 , despite the opposition of Arab slave traders, he located the Nile source in Lake Albert Nyanza.
