From personal experience i can say that a lot of the students at WVU are very sociable. There are a number of bars and clubs that are open throughout the week where a lot of students choose to go (18 to enter, 21 to buy/consume alcohol). A lot of the sporting events held here are also a great way to socialize. West Virginia University has a big reputation for being one of the biggest party schools in the nation.
