It is currently ranked by U.S. News and World Report as the 14th best liberal arts college in the nation, and was recently ranked the 6th Top College in the United States by Forbes. West Point ensures that regardless of the major selected, every cadet will receive a well rounded liberal arts degree (a B.S. in Science) in order to best prepare a cadet for the role of a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army.
That being said, West Point is renowned for its many top programs in engineering.
