The Water Is Wide Group
Question:
The Water is Wide: As a failed hero, what did Conroy give back to the children? Did he leave them wanting to learn more about the world? Or nothing?
I'm writing and essay on The Water is Wide, by Pat Conroy, and the topic is to decide whether or not Pat is a hero or failed hero.
im saying that he is a hero in the sense that he left the children with a desire to learn more about their world, even just the slightest bit, but im sure there is a better example of what he left the kids with. Please help! :)
