    Go to the site below for a complete list of the characters and the description of each one. I can give you only the main characters and a brief description.

    Volpone is the main character who enjoys playing his con games against challenging opponents. He's also known as "The Fox".

    Corbaccio, "The Raven", is a greedy old man who will do just about anything to get Volpone's money.

    Corvino, "The Crow", also wants to get his hands on Volpone's money. He's married to Celia, the woman Volpone wants for himself.

    Mosca, "The Gadfly", tries to outwit everyone, even Volpone. It is Mosca's job to see that Volpone's plans are carried out, but he's greedy and goes too far.

    Voltore, "The Vulture", is Volpone's lawyer, but he's also greedy and treacherous. He's disbarred at the end.
