    This is clearly a "Carpe Diem" ("Sieze the day", in Latin) and can easily be introduced as such.  The speaker is trying to convince the Virgins that life is short, and encourages them to take hold of the time that they have, here and now, because before they know it they will be dead, and all that they hold dear now (their honor, beauty) will mean nothing in the grave.
