The Wild Duck (1984)
The Wild Duck ★½ 1984 (PG) A father discovers that his beloved daughter is illegitimate and turns against her. To regain his love, she plans to sacrifice her most prized possession. Irons overacts; Ullmann almost disappears into the woodwork. Child star Jones is insufferable, and the whole family squeaks with "literary" pomposity. A horrid adaptation of the classic Ibsen play. 96m/C VHS. AU Jeremy Irons, Liv Ullmann, Lucinda Jones, Arthur Dignam; Director: Henri Safran.
