Stephen King's The Langoliers (1995) Stephen King's The Langoliers

Stephen King's The Langoliers ★½ The Langoliers 1995 (PG-13) Bloated variation of "Ten Little Indians" finds 10 airline passengers dozing off on their L.A.-to-Boston flight and awakening to find their fellow passengers and the crew have vanished. Of course, one passenger (Morse) is a pilot and he gets them to Bangor, Maine (where the miniseries was filmed), only to discover the airport is deserted and very weird things are going on. Oh yeah, the "langoliers" look like flying cannonballs with piranha teeth and have something to do with neurotic Pinchot's character. Not that you'll care much. 180m/C VHS, DVD. David Morse, Bronson Pinchot, Patricia Wettig, Dean Stockwell, Kate Maberly, Christopher Collet, Kimber Riddle, Mark Lindsay Chapman, Frankie Faison, Baxter Harris, Stephen King, Tom Holland; Director: Tom Holland; Writer: Tom Holland; Writer: Paul Maibaum; Cameo: Vladimir Horunzhy.
