Running Against Time (1990) Running Against Time

Running Against Time ★★½ 1990 (PG) A teacher tries to change history (and erase his brother's Vietnam War death) by time-warping back to 1963 and preventing JFK's murder. Cable TV movie takes an offhanded gee-whiz approach to a tantalizing premise, as temporal paradoxes multiply in "Back to the Future" style. No assassination-conspiracy theories, by the way, but Lyndon Johnson fans may not like his portrayal here. Based on the novel "A Time to Remember" by Stanley Shapiro. 93m/C VHS. Robert Hays, Catherine Hicks, Sam Wanamaker, James DiStefano, Brian Smiar; Director: Bruce Seth Green; Writer: Robert Glass. CABLE
