Roseland (1977)
Roseland ★★★ 1977 (PG) Three interlocking stories, set at New York's famous old Roseland Ballroom, about lonely people who live to dance. Not fully successful, but strong characters, especially in the second and third stories, make it worth watching, although it lacks energy. 103m/C VHS. Christopher Walken, Geraldine Chaplin, Joan Copeland, Teresa Wright, Lou Jacobi; Director: James Ivory; Writer: Ruth Prawer Jhabvala.
