The President's Mystery (1936) The President's Mystery

The President's Mystery ★½ One For All 1936 A lawyer decides to turn his back on society by giving up his practice and his marriage. Eventually he meets and falls in love with another woman. The most interesting aspect of the film is that it is based on a story by Franklin D. Roosevelt, which was published in "Liberty" magazine. The story was supposedly better than its screen adaptation. 80m/B VHS. Henry Wilcoxon, Betty Furness, Sidney Blackmer, Evelyn Brent; Director: Phil Rosen.
