Murphy's War (1971)
Murphy's War ★★ 1971 (PG) In WWII, the Germans sink an English ship and gun down most of its crew. An Irishman, however, survives and returns to health with the help of a nurse. He then seeks revenge on those who killed his crewmates, even after he learns the war has ended. O'Toole is interesting as the revenge-minded seaman though saddled with a mediocre script. 106m/C VHS. GB Peter O'Toole, Sian Phillips, Philippe Noiret; Director: Peter Yates; Writer: Stirling Silliphant; Cameo: John Barry.
