The Lion King 1 1/2 ★★★ 2004 (G) Timon and Pumbaa tell the story of the original from their point of view, so we get to see what happened to Simba and how he grew up between the time he ran away and when he returned. Sort of a "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" for the pre-teen set. Offers up the original cast (with some new additions), and a new song. Doesn't disappoint fans of the franchise, with plenty of enjoyment for every age group. 77m/C VHS, DVD.
