High Crimes (2002) High Crimes

High Crimes ★★½ 2002 (PG-13) Military courtroom thriller is only average but does have Freeman, who's always worth watching. Turns out Tom, then known as Ron Chapman, was in an elite Marine special unit and is accused of a 1988 civilian massacre in El Salvador. She looks to recovering alcoholic and ex-JAG lawyer Charlie Grimes (Freeman) for assistance but sinister plots are afoot. Based on the 1998 novel by Joseph Finder. 115m/C VHS, DVD.
