Golden Boy (1939) Golden Boy

Golden Boy ★★★ 1939 Holden plays a young and gifted violinist who earns money for his musical education by working as a part-time prizefighter. Based on Clifford Odets' play with toned down finale. 99m/B VHS. William Holden, Adolphe Menjou, Barbara Stanwyck, Lee J. Cobb, Joseph Calleia, Sam Levene, Don Beddoe, Charles Halton; Director: Rouben Mamoulian; Writer: Daniel Taradash, Victor Heerman, Sarah Y. Mason.
