Gale Force ★★½ 2001 (R) The reality TV show "Treasure Hunt" involves eight contestants, one of whom is L.A. detective Sam Garrett (Williams), competing to find 10 million buried on the remote island on which they are marooned. But Sam is suspicious of executive producer Stuart McMahon (DeYoung), who'll do anything for ratings, and show host Jack MacRae (Nozick), who has a plot to get the money for himself. Oh, and then Mother Nature decides to make things even more interesting. Lots of action, including a good storm sequence. Wynorski directs under his Jay Andrews pseudonym. 96m/C VHS, DVD.
