Hurt plays Dr. Joseph Buchanan, a nuclear physicist time traveler who accidentally goes back to 1816 and runs into Lord Byron (Patric), Percy (Hutchence) and Mary (Fonda) Shelley and their neighbor Baron Frankenstein (Julia) and his monster (Brimble).
