Forces of Nature ★★ 1999 (PG-13) Lightweight romantic screwball comedy has straight-laced nice guy Ben (Affleck) trying to get to Savannah in time for his wedding with Tierney. When his plane skids off the runway, he's paired up with free spirit Sarah (Bullock) on an obstacle-filled trip down south. Some fine moments and unusually well done characterization are undone by inconsistency and a lack of chemistry. Enjoyment of the conclusion depends on your opinion of romantic comedy conventions. 104m/C VHS, DVD.
