Firelight ★★½ 1997 (R) Governess Elisabeth (Marceau) needs to pay off her father's debts and makes a deal with married British aristocrat Charles Godwin (Dillane) to give him a child since his own wife is comatose from a riding accident. She gives her baby daughter up but, seven years later, is still so haunted by her memories that she decides to seek them out. So Elisabeth gets hired as her own spoiled daughter's governess.
