Demolition Man (1993) Demolition Man

Demolition Man ★★ 1993 (R) No-brain sci-fier rests on the action skills of Stallone and Snipes. Psychovillain Snipes (sporting a Dennis Rodman 'do) is pursued by equally violent cop Stallone in the late 1990s. Then they're cryogenically frozen, defrosted in 2032, and back to their old tricks. One problem. This is not a fun future: virtual reality sex is the only kind allowed and puritan ethics and political correctness are enforced to the max. Cop and bad guy get to show this highly orderly society some really violent times. Implausible plot and minimal acting, but lots of action and violence for fans. 115m/C VHS, DVD, 8mm, Wide. Jack Black, Steve Kahan, Grand L. Bush, Bill Cobbs, Dan Cortese, Rob Schneider, Jesse Ventura, Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Sandra Bullock, Nigel Hawthorne, Benjamin Bratt, Bob Gunton, Glenn Shadix, Denis Leary; Director: Marco Brambilla; Writer: Daniel Waters, Robert Reneau, Peter M.
