Caddyshack 2 ★½ 1988 (PG) Obligatory sequel to "Caddyshack," minus Bill Murray, who wisely avoided further encroachment of gopher holes, and director Ramis who opted for the screenwriting chore. Mason is the star of the show as a crude self-made millionaire who tangles with the snobs at the country club. Although it occasionally earns a chuckle, "Shack 2" has significantly fewer guffaws than the original, proving once again that funny guys are always undone by lousy scripts and weak direction. 103m/C VHS, DVD, 8mm.
