28 Days ★★½ 2000 (PG-13) Hard-partying New York journalist Gwen (Bullock) manages to destroy her sister's wedding reception when she gets drunk and manages to get arrested for DUI. The film's title refers to the amount of time Gwen must spend at a rehab clinic. Naturally, Gwen doesn't really believe she has a problem and that's the first attitude adjustment she has to make. Cliches galore although Bullock is welcomingly spiky rather than sweet. 103m/C VHS, DVD, Wide.
