Yes, insurance comes with tuition and students can use the Student Health Center without restraint. Dermatologists and Sports Medicine doctors are also available at Student Health. The Vanderbilt Medical Center is close by and can also be used. Vanderbilt also has a Psychological Counseling Center for students. They will be matched up with a counselor, and can visit for a number of reasons. The PCC does career counseling as well...

Yes, Vandy has a thriving Greek Community. There are 15 sororities and 22 fraternities. 43% of the entire population is Greek. 52% of women are Greek, and 32% of men. The Greek community is open to everyone, and you can definitely be independent and have a great experience at Vanderbilt. Greek organizations all have philanthropies they raise money for and well and great leadership opportunities.
