    Valparaiso University's main recreation area would be the Atheltic Recreation Center (ARC for short). The ARC has many facilities, such as a weight room for any student to use, several racquetball courts, Basketball courts, multi-purpose gymnasiums, a track, etc. The ARC hosts the Crusader's volleyball and basketball games as well. There are several tennis courts on campus which are usually open for the students to use (unless the tennis team is in practice or there is a tournament). Along with this, there are also a few outdoor basketball courts near the tennis courts, along with volleyball nets setup outside the dorms (although this can change from year to year). Finally, Eastgate is a large field owned by Valparaiso, and not only contains the soccer field for the Crusaders, but also hosts most of the outdoor intramural sports played at Valpo, such as soccer, flag football, ultimate frisbee, etc.
