    There is a Greek system at Valparaiso University. It is comprised of 7 Sororities and 9 Fraternities, most of which are chapters of a larger national or even international order. About 25-30% of students at Valparaiso go Greek, although this fluctuates heavily on a year to year basis. Many popular social and philanthropic events at Valparaiso University are hosted by one or several fraternities and sororities.
