There are many programs offered at Valparaiso that allow for international studies. Europe is probably the most popular destination, as students often study in England, Germany, Spain, and France. Some students may even choose to go to Greece. There are many other possibilities that remain, such as China, Africa (Namibia), and Mexico. The school is constrantly making international connections with foreign colleges so that students have a broad assortment of countries to which they can spend a semester while still studying.
Students often base their choice about studying abroad on whether or not their chosen major can handle a semester of very few credits. Most often, students with international business or language majors will choose to spend a semester abroad, but most of the time personal preference comes into play. The program is extremely successful at Valparaiso University.
