Students Speak Out On Overall Experience

“My overall experience at Valpo has been great. I didn't look at a lot of schools when searching for colleges, but I knew on my first visit that Valpo was where I was supposed to be. One of the best experiences I've had is being able to change academic tracks so easily. I started as computer science, switched to English, and I've now added a sociology major. Even though I changed majors during my sophomore year, I had extra time in my schedule, and was able to make room for the sociology. I have had a great time at Valpo.”

“I really like my VU education, and I am very proud to be part of this institution. However, I have the distinct privilege of wanting to be here and not having any alternative plans. I don't need a job, I don't need a social life, and I don't need a man. So college is really what I make of it. VU is not a 'worldly' experience. It is in Indiana, for God's sake.”
