Valley of the Dolls has three main characters: Jennifer North, Neely O'Hara, and Anne Wells. Jennifer is beautiful and talentless, but her beauty is enough to propel her to stardom. She, however, is not interested in fame; she was programmed by her mother to want money, reminded of what a financial drain she was on the family, how it was imperative that she make a good, wealth-producing marriage. Jennifer doesn't really enjoy money. She's restless with it, always buying new clothes and giving them away. She never really amasses any cash. Her pursuit of money leads her to two bad...
