Students Speak Out On Overall Experience

“I transferred here from the University of Pittsburgh, which was a very urban college—I wasn't really into it. I am so happy I chose UW–Madison; it is a great college that offers a lot of things for anybody. There are over 2,000 student organizations, so I'm sure there is something you can get into. it's a great city and a very reputable school, where a lot of great research and academic advancement comes from. Plus it is a great location—only three hours from Chicago and two from Milwaukee. I completely recommend UW. I think if anyone saw it, they would agree it is a good choice!”

“I did transfer to Madison in hopes of bettering my 'college experience' and I would say that Madison has fulfilled that hope. I have been challenged academically, met some amazing people, and gotten involved with a few organizations. I honestly cannot think of another place that I would want to be—except maybe the University of Maui.Madison encompasses opportunity and expectations. You are expected to do well, and that success opens doors to amazing opportunities .
