The wonderful thing about attending such a large school is you have options. UW allows you to decide which classes you want to take to fulfill requirements for most degrees. For example, most degrees require some form of Composition class. There are many composition classes to choose from, so usually each person can find at least one class that they find interesting or at least tolerable. You can choose which classes you want to take to fulfill each type of requirement in most cases. This is the case with the majority of degrees here. The business school does, however, have quite a few particular classes that you must take. It all depends on the degree you choose to achieve. You can check more of this out by going to washington.edu and searching for advising. It will lead you into areas where you can explore to find out which degrees require which classes.
