The University of Utah has a lot to offer to its students. There are many extracurricular activities and clubs. Many students post fliers on the 'community wall'. This wall is located just below the Union Building. To see what's happening, many students refer to the wall to see what is posted by other fellow students. There are different events ranging from concerts to movie showings. Other notable campus activities include Careers Fairs, Ethnic Cultural Awareness Weeks, and such.

Have you considered trying the Greek lifestyle? Well, the University does offer an array of sororities and fraternities. Greek recruitment is open to all students. Typically, the University will set up an open house for all students, for a small fee per individual ($35.00). During this open house, students are free to meet with different sorority/fraternity representatives to see which sorority/fraternity would fit them best. This open house typically lasts a week and is well worth the time and money. In addition, free food and entertainment is provided during the open house recruitment period.
