Tips to Succeed at U of U

Pick your major early and stick with it.

Find classes that count for double credit (such as classes within your major that also apply to your gen eds).

Don't waste money on the $120 U parking pass, go for $60 E pass (and if you can avoid it, don't waste money on parking at all).

Sit close to the front of the class and participate in classroom discussions; because many classes are large, you won't get noticed if you don't try.

Visit your teacher during office hours to talk about assignments.

Take Exercise and Sports Science classes for credit: they count as electives, they're good for you, and generally have little to no homework.
