Students may select their major upon entering their freshmen year, but it is good to be sure to choose your major by the beginning of your junior year because this is when you are admitted into the college of your major and being upper level courses. So far I really like the balance here...it seems like there is as much studying going on as partying (you just have to be in the right niche at the right time). Also, the food is nutritious and delicious, depending on where you go, of course. The thing I like least would have to be the overwhelming number of Greek system participants and over-bearing UT fans. It seems that unique style is hard to find here.
