Students Speak Out On Overall Experience
“For the most part, I like UT. I've learned it is what you make it, and you really have to just find your own niche. I go part-time now, and I wish I could be on campus all the time because that is the best way to really get involved and learn about the stuff you will like. Some people don't have that luxury, though, so you have to find other ways to get involved. It really is a good place. Campus is really pretty and, for the most part, the people are really nice. The teachers are helpful, and you just have to remember why you are there in the first place. Don't get too wrapped up in having fun and forget about your education. You will regret it—I've seen it happen.”
“Because I have lived so close to UT all of my life, it was not initially somewhere I wanted to go. As soon as I started school and saw what UT had to offer, I felt much better about my choice. I have since become involved in campus activities and gained a solid and useful education. There are many memories of UT and friends that will be with me for the rest of my life.”
