I am sitting at my first USC football game - Merci thought we should take advantage of our student status to see the #1 ranked college football team boasted by our institution of higher learning. Right now they are playing Stanford, and really pounding them. It's shaping up to be a rout, early on - barring an act of god they will leave Stanford as a smear on the field. In the student section, loyal souls are yelling "Fuck Stanford!" and "Get a Real Education!" I don't know much about our team - from this distance they swagger unchallenged amongst lesser teams. I think it's more fun to watch a sporting challenge! Either that or consume massive quantities of beer and celebrate supremacy with shouting. I made the unfortunate call to come sober.
