33% of Pitt students (from all five campuses) graduate in four years, the highest percentage of all four of Pennsylvania's state-related schools. This seemingly low number could be accounted by the fact that many Pitt students are nontraditional students and that many take time off to work or have internships. 52% of undergraduates graduate in five years, and 62% in six years.
To graduate in four years, it is important to take as close to 15 credits per semester as possible and finish general education requirements during the first few years of school. This way, electives are easier to fit in a senior schedule.
