How is the housing situation both on and off-campus? Is it easy or difficult to find housing?

Housing is very easy to find both on- and off-campus. However, as this is a large university, housing also tends to be expensive. While dorm fees can be found at the University of Michigan website, one can expect to pay upwards of $500 a month for off-campus housing.

If you are looking for a very nice place to live on North Campus, but not in the dorms, definitely check out The Courtyard Apartments. They are brand new and very, very nice. Plus, they are right next to the North Campus Recreation Building, and Bursley Hall, so you could still get a meal plan and eat at the cafeteria in Bursley, but not have to deal with the hassles of regular dorm life.
