Posted by bgl5704 on Saturday September 20, 2008 at 12:40 PMMost students in the University of Florida graduate within 4 years of attendance. However, there are a good number of students who may graduate early due to taking summer classes, having high school Advance Placement exams or if they had recieved an I.B. diploma.

Posted by akipocky on Monday September 29, 2008 at 8:30 AMI do not have an accurate percentage to give you however majority of the students do graduate in 4 years. I do find that many individuals that graduate in 4 years or earlier tend to already have credits brought in from high school, have taken consecutive summer classes, or have not been indecisive about their major. On the other side, not graduating in 4 years is not a bad thing. Many students that don't graduate within 4 years have done many beneficial things for themselves such as studying abroad, double-majoring, internships, etc. So I would say don't stress too much about graduating on time but just enjoy the times in college and make the best out of it :)

Posted by rlendensky on Saturday December 6, 2008 at 12:21 PMI think its safe to say that a majority of students fininsh their undergraduate degree in four years or less. However, a lot of students come in with more than thirty credits, thus allowing them to finish their undergraduate degree in three years. Also it is not terribly uncommon to stay for a fifth year. For instance, the business school has a program in which you can earn your undergraduate degree and masters degree in five years.
