Yes, UF has a very large Greek System of various kinds. Personally, 1 out of 5 of my friends would be involved in either a fraternity or a sorority. Many students that did not participate in their first or second year also made decisions to participate in their junior or senior years. UF's Greek System is extremely involved in social and on campus activities, and have done many beneficial events. If you like to be very involved and socially diverse, plus like having a new family in college, I would highly recommend in joining the system. You would love it :)

UF's Greek system is not only very large but very influential. Greek system at UF is very active in student government as well as volunteer work for the community. I myself being a member of a fraternity have seen the benefits of the Greek the system in itself. As far as how many students participate, about 15% of all undergraduate UF students are part of the Greek system, which ends up being about 7500 members.
