As far as quality goes for freshman dorms, Lakeside is definitely the best, but the location is very inconvenient and it is the most expensive dorms on campus. Beaty is also very nice, they include a kitchen, bathroom, common room, and two suites of two people. The floors are also co-ed in Beaty.

As far as social dorms for freshman, Jennings, Rawlings, and Broward are certainly the most social, though not necessarily the nicest dorms on campus, they are almost entirely freshman and the first weeks of summer or fall they are bustling with people looking to meet new friends. The location for these dorms are great as well, all being a short walk from all classes and dining areas. If I could make a recommendation, I would recommend one of those three dorms.
