    You need to declare your major by the first semester of junior year or by your 5th semester at Uconn. You can however change your major at any time. It is a goo idea to think about what you are interested in when you sign up for your required courses and to also sign up for a variety of required general education courses. That way you will have a better idea of what you want to do when it comes time to declare your major.
