About 3 out of every 5 students (60%) that finishes their degree at CU will do so in 4 years. This is because many students do not decide their major until 2 or even 3 years into their schooling, or they or constantly switching majors which requires them to take more credits. It is not difficult to graduate in 4 years if you have your mind made up at an early stage and you are committed to staying on track, however it is in no way uncommon to take an extra semester or even a year to walk away with a diploma.
