There is always a very active lifestyle on campus because the university must cater to the needs and wants of about 27,000 students. The best way to get involved with campus activities is through living in the dorms your freshman year and taking the initiative to meet new people, especially in the classroom. There are an immense number of clubs and societies to join if you want to get plugged into the social network: everything from the Greek system and on-campus concerts, to A-cappella singing groups and the ski-snowboard club. Whatever your interests are, the University of Colorado has something for you that will connect you with the society that is CU. There are 5 on-campus dining halls, 3 of which include Grab-n-Go options if you don't have time to sit down and enjoy the meal. They are all cafeteria/buffet style, so you can eat as much as you want at almost any time of day. The quality and variety of food is much higher than is normally expected from a cafeteria dining experience. Posted by benjammin412 on Sep 14, 2008. |
