I started an on-and-off again school career at Florida International University in 1999 and through the years grew so familiar it was like a second home, and a place where I finished growing up.
I took this photo after leaving class on April 26, 2006... the last time I would go to FIU after all these years. It was a little sad leaving the campus I've known for so long, and I guess the rainy weather was appropriate.
In fact, it's the end of one stage and the beginning of another stage. This summer, I'm moving from Miami--my home and my lifeblood for years--to Orlando and transferring to University of Central Florida.
