    Yes, there are a number of different Genearl Ed classes freshman have to take. Among these are World Civilizations 1 & 2 and English (either 101 and 201 or 102). There are also math, science, and humanities requirements. However, what courses you take depends on your major. Some majors also require a language requirement as well.
