I was wondering because my brother swears it is true.Did Tanya from the Denali clan ever hook up (as in sleep with) or date Edward?  Or just like him

    She was interested, but Edward tells Bella that he was not.  It is not clear if they were ever together in the way that you mean.  Because the author is a member of a church that believes in remaining pure until marriage, it is unlikely that Edward actually had a physical with anyone before he marries Bella.  In all of the books Edward is the one who restrains himself.

    In Midnight Sun, which is Edward's version of Twilight, he clearly says that he is not interested in Tanya. She showed interest, but he never like her. Also, in Breaking Dawn, when Bella first meets Tanya, she is a strawberry blonde. Edward clearly stated that he preferred brunettes.
