Not just any book, but one that continues the story after Breaking Dawn. Posted by craz13ch1k on Feb 5, 2009. |

Wouldn't it be great if our favorite series went on forever? Sadly, they all have to end. In the FAQ section of her website, Meyer indicates she's ending the series with that book because the series is Bella's story, and it would be natural /logical to end it there.

Meyer began a fifth book titled Midnight Sun. It was basically over the events that took place during Twilight, the first book, but told in the first person point of view through Edward Cullen's perspective. Because Edward was so secretive and mysterious, this form of storytelling allowed many questions to be answered (how he felt about people, what his insecurities were, what he did when Bella wasn't around, etc.). Unfortunately, in the summer of 2008, the first draft of the novel was leaked and posted illegally on the Internet. At first, Meyer was so upset that she decided to stop working on the book altogether. Instead she posted the draft on her Web site so that her fans would not feel as though they were cheating her if they read it elsewhere. She has since changed her mind and has put off working on the book "indefinitely," so there still is hope. Let's get to wishing! . Posted by jgomezada on Feb 5, 2009. |

She's writing midnight sun (available in her website) which is the twilight version of edward. it's fun to read especially when you read it side by side with twilight. and i wish she would write edward's version of new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn. Posted by joannxvi on Feb 8, 2009. |

I believe she should definitely stop at Breaking Dawn. When an author writes too many books, it looses the meaning of the book. For example, Harry Potter. Posted by almillionare on Feb 8, 2009. |

Look at it this way: What if a movie were made of every book. Edward and Bella are supposed to be 17 and 18 forever. After awhile, the actors are going to start aging and no amount of makeup will make them look like teenagers. What to do? Hire new actors? Somehow explain that they have mysteriously aged? Make the actors have plastic surgery? Sometimes it's just best to stop while you're ahead. Posted by linda-allen on Feb 9, 2009. |

She is stopping the series, yes, but I think it is best. The story is over with a happy ending, that's a good thing. I'd like it to contuine, but its really not gonna Posted by degrassite101 on Feb 12, 2009. |

This series is over, but if you enjoy Meyers' writing, I would suggest reading "The Host." She explores some similar themes in that work and her characterization is excellent. "The Host" is a very unique and different take on alien invasion, exploring themes of humanity, individuality, and love. I'm sure that with Stephenie Meyers' success she will continue to write, so I think we'll have plenty of her work to read in the years to come. Posted by slchanmo1885 on Feb 13, 2009. |

Meyer has concluded the Twilight series, but, she has the book "The Host" out, and if you like magical, gothic novels, you could check out the Harry Potter series. I did that after finishing the Twilight series and discovered that I love the books! Posted by bekkygirl1 on Feb 14, 2009. |
