Bella and Edward are fictional characters. On top of that, they are products of fantasy--vampires and werewolves do not exist. However, there are examples of great loves. Surely you've heard of a woman who, after 40 or 50 years of marriage to the love of her life, dies only weeks after her husband passed on. Or take Ronald and Nancy Reagan as an example.
